Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm | Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Are you an analytical commercial professional with experience in pricing, costing and supply chain operations? We're looking for a Commercial & Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Dewsbury. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys using data to influence commercial decisions, improve business processes and work collaboratively across multiple departments.
You'll take ownership of key commercial activities including pricing analysis, product costings, contract administration and supply chain collaboration, helping to drive business performance and support strategic decision-making.
What you'll be doing
- Producing detailed product costings, pricing analysis and customer quotations.
- Analysing margins and identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance.
- Supporting sourcing and procurement activities by evaluating supplier costs, inventory and logistics data.
- Managing commercial contracts, including monitoring key milestones, reviewing terms and identifying potential risks.
- Maintaining accurate commercial data and producing reports using ERP/MRP systems.
- Working closely with internal teams to coordinate commercial and operational activities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and business processes.
- Monitoring KPIs and ensuring high standards of data accuracy and commercial compliance.
- Acting as a key point of contact for resolving commercial queries and supporting cross-functional projects.
What we're looking for
- Experience in a commercial, supply chain, procurement, pricing or commercial analysis role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
- Experience managing product costings, pricing or commercial reporting.
- Good understanding of commercial contracts and the ability to identify potential risks.
- Experience using ERP and MRP systems; knowledge of MES systems would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
