Position: Production Operative

Location: Dewsbury

Hours: 4 on 4 off: 2 x 06:00 - 18:00, 2 x 18:00 - 06:00

Salary: £12.60 per hour, plus £2,000 pa shift allowance and £0.50 per hour attendance bonus.

There is the opportunity to earn up to £15.50 per hour dependent upon skill level.

All operatives will be trained and become qualified to operate a counterbalance forklift.  Other training will include learning how to operate a variety of different mixing, moulding, and kiln machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting all stages of catalyst manufacturing.
  • Handling and preparation of raw silt materials forming and processing ceramic spheres.
  • Operating and monitoring production equipment.
  • Maintaining quality and consistency standards.
  • Ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing processes in line with company procedures and production targets.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment - essential
  • The role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods.
  • Hard-Working, self-motivated attitude.
  • Some flexibility due to the shift pattern.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • A good level of literacy and numeracy.
