Shok Yan Hoo is one of our Technical Sales Engineers based in Aruba. She is currently representing our company in the Caribbean, Mexico, and South America. She also assists in toll services, on-site technical services, and design services worldwide. Shokyan has worked with Unicat Catalyst since 2007 and specializes in Syn-gas Technologies and Hydro-treating Catalyst Technologies. She graduated Hanze Hogeschool Groningen in The Netherlands with a Chemical Engineering Degree. Shokyan has over a decade of experience in our industry. She worked as an Engineer in the Hydrogen Plant at Coastal in Aruba, and as a Hydro-treating Process Engineer at Valero Aruba Refinery in Aruba. Shokyan also speaks 4 languages including: English, Spanish, Papiamento, and Dutch.

During her free time Shokyan enjoys spending quality time with her 3 children, reading, travelling and learning about the different cultures. Shokyan also spends some of her free time volunteering to help at her local orphanage to bathe, feed, and play with the children ages 0-3 years.
