Methanol Production
Unicat’s NG-610-6H is a nickel based catalyst with an alpha alumina carrier for primary steam reforming units in hydrogen, ammonia, SynGas and methanol plants.
NG–611-6H series catalysts are Ni-based catalysts for primary reformers for operation in low S/C, high CO2 recycle, or heavy HC feed-stocks.
NG–612-6H are a line of slightly potash promoted Ni based steam reforming catalyst with the added benefit of an alkali based carrier for top layer loading in primary reformers with Natural Gas feedstocks with higher wt% of C2-C6.
NG–615-6H is a potash promoted Ni based steam reforming catalyst with the added benefit of an alkali based carrier for top layer loading in primary reformers in operation in with heavy hydrocarbon feed stocks such as LPG/Propane/Butane.
NG–615-4K is a specialty formulated highly alkalized carrier Ni based steam reforming catalyst for top layer loading in primary reformers in operation with naphtha feed stock.
NGPR-1 is a standard high activity pre-reformer with Mg Aluminate carrier and > 25% Ni content. It is designed only for Heavy NG applications and is active as low as 800 F (>430 C) for reforming reactions.
NGPR-2 is a high activity pre-reformer catalyst that is based on high Ni content and is designed for medium to heavy HC service applications and is active as low as 740 F (385 C) for reforming reactions.
NGR– 600X series is a secondary reformer catalyst with exceptional high thermal resistance for use in the very top layer of secondary reformers in ammonia plants.
Unicat's NG-600-6H is anickel-based, 6-hole cylinder, secondary reforming catalyst with a cemented carrier. NG-600-6H has a very high temperature tolerance carrier matrix and shape-optimized, 6-hole cylinder with convex ends designed to balance strength, activity and pressure drop requirements for severe service requirements.
Unicat’s NG-605-6H is a nickel-based, 6-hole cylinder, secondary reforming catalyst with Alumina based carrier for use in the lower sections of the secondary reformer.
MS-900 is the next generation UNICAT CuO/ZnO Low Temperature Active Methanol Synthesis catalyst product to be used in the shifting of CO/H2 to MeOH in reformed natural gas or coal gasification based methanol plants. Its operating range is typically from 374 F to 562 F. It has an excellent low temperature activity, resistance to thermal sintering and methanol selectivity.
