Sour Shift Catalyst

SS-450 is an exceptionally active and strong Sour Shift Catalyst product to be used in the shifting of CO to CO2 in gasified gas in Coal gasification processes with high sulfur content. Its operating range is to 370-600F. It has excellent post reduction crush strength and is highly resistant to steam and or water condensation problems that occur regularly in such reactors.

CoO: 3.5-5%+, Mo2O3: > 11% , MgAl2O3: 12%, Crystalline Phase MgAl2O4+Al2O3 balance.

Optimum Operating Temperature: 370-800 F.

Shape: extrudate / Grey to Green Color.

Size: 4*6-15 mm

Surface area: >126 m2/g

Pore Volume: 0.38 ml/g

Crush Strength: >24.1 lbs/8mm reduced state

Attrition loss: 4% average

Inlet Sulfur Average: 500-5000 ppm

H2O/C: 2-8
