High Activity – Low Pressure System Sour Shift Catalyst

SS-455 is an ultra high activity combined with high crush strength Sour Shift Catalyst product to be used in the shifting of CO to CO2 in gasified gas in Coal gasification processes with high sulfur content operating at lower pressures ( 400-600 psig) . Its intended to operate primarily in the first stage but up to 2 and 3 rd stage reactor of these systems and Its operating range is to 400-800 F ( typically 650-700 F). It has excellent post reduction crush strength and is highly resistant to steam and or water condensation problems that occur regularly in such reactors. It can easily handle H2S content of 2000-5000 ppm in the syn-gas loop.
