Deep Methanation Catalyst

MC-750 is a Ni-based deep methanation catalyst that comes in either the oxidized or the pre-reduced version. It has a very high activity and surface area. It can handle temperature spikes up to 950 F for a short period of time without loss of activity. The pre-reduced catalyst version allows for smooth, quick, and optimum start up of the product in town-gas, gasification, ammonia, hydrogen or ethylene plants.

Bulk Density: 1.1-1.2kg/liter (68-75 lbs/cuft depending on oxidized or pre-reduced) and shape

Optimum Operating Temperature: 350—780 F

Size & Shape: 4*3 mm tablet, 6*4 mm tablet

Radial Crush Strength: 26-40 lbs pellets

Surface Area: 80-120 m2/g

Attrition loss: les than 4% for tablets

Maximum CO+CO2 inlet: 7-12%

Exit Target CO+CO2 = 1 -5 ppm
